They say that when they build this church, they use egg yolk to make bricks to build this church.

When I was at Cebu, I visited the famous Magellan's cross, this cross was planted in April 14, 1521 by Ferdinand Magellan when he first set foot on Cebu. They say that the cross has a healing power that when you scratch the cross and use the wood that you have scratch as a medicine, it heal illnesses. That is why the church protected the cross from people who is scratching it by putting the original cross to the cross-shaped case and display it in the public.
